Yellow gold case on a leather strap, first "Swiss" dial, applied indexes, red date, smooth bezel, Plexiglas crystal, screw-down crown, mechanical movement Caliber A296. This is an historic piece ! the very first Datejust with the Datejust designation produced by Rolex. It is also the first "Swiss Only" dial. Produced exclusively between 1950 and the early 1960s, it succeeds the ref. 6104, which does not have the "Datejust" designation and a "Swiss Made" dial. RARE WATCH !!
